The Truth About Week One
After being away from my full-time job at Starbucks for three months, I returned to major changes—new systems, new responsibilities, and a new rhythm to learn. I’ll be honest: by the end of the week, I was tired. My body had gotten used to a completely different routine, but I know I’ll adjust.
The real question I had to ask myself was: Did I make any progress on my real estate business this week?
The answer is yes.
It wasn’t perfect or glamorous. But even in the middle of readjusting to work, I carved out moments to move my business forward—and that’s something I’m proud of.
What I’m Learning
This first week reminded me that balance doesn’t always mean equal time—it means intentional time. It’s about using the hours you do have to build what matters most. I also learned that momentum matters more than perfection. Every small win—every contact added, every post shared, every plan made—brings me one step closer to where I’m headed.
